I was wondering now and then, where I could get an opportunity to get a professional photographer to take a picture of me, riding – a simple nice picture of me in motion!
Back in 2019 on a way back from Stella Alpina Rally (read more about it here), I was taking a detour, and completely by accident bumped into a photographer on a side of the road. Deep into the french alps, on one of the mountain passes… no need to stop or anything, just ride by, and once you have access to the internet, find his page, look for a date and time stamp, and here you go, a professional picture of you.
I can not recall the exact location I bumped into him (somewhere around Col Du Mont Cenis), but if you will google “foxphotos” i’m sure you will find him (Edit: visit www.foxphotos.fr).
Back in the UK, I was thinking if I would have a chance to do that again, locally. And recently attended a photo shoot organised by bikerpics.co.uk, same format, ride by and later look for your pictures on their website.
Price wise, a bit expensive, in the UK i have paid almost £10 for a picture and back in France around €12!
Quality of pictures they make will never be matched by phones and locations they choose are always awesome, so in my opinion – definitely worth it, it is not like you do that so often!
So go ahead, find your local photographer and get yourself a nice picture!
