So I was making a list of websites where owners (and visitors) shared some really good routes, and I thought why not to share it with everyone! List is in no particular order, some have routes all around the world, some in just particular areas… Please feel free to explore, and if you noticed that something is missing – please let me know!
Motorcycle Adventure Route Publishers:
TrailKnights -Yes! Some good gpx files are shared here and there, and they are now easy to download – from the “Downloads” page!
Going Limbo Routes (GLR) – Another good Adventure trail network around Italy, France, Spain and Croatia (Some routes are free, some require a small fee).
Adventure Country Tracks (ACT) – few good Adventure trails around Greece, Italy, Portugal and Romania – Surely the best countries to visit if you seek adventures (not free thought – requires membership).
Trans-Canada Adventure Trail (TCAT) -Some off road Adventure routes around Canada.
Trans-America Trail (TAT) – As the name suggests – Another Great Adventure Route – across America.
Trans-Euro Trail (TET) – European Version of “Trans” – Probably the messiest one out there too.
The Trans Northern Trail (TNT) – very nice Stand alone addition to UK TET, shared by adventure riders to adventure riders! No website, route shared on facebook group only (At least for now).
ADVrider.com / Forum / Mapping & Navigation – Good source of GPX Files On ADVrider.com Forum, but being a forum it’s really messy there, but still worth checking out.
Untamed Few Trails here and there from Dinaric Rally – I suppose what didn’t get used for the rally, was shared there (or maybe not)!
Motorcycle Magazine – Seems like plenty of gpx files from all corners of the world, but for some reason none of the links worked for me, i’ll share it anyway – maybe it will get fixed some time!
OutdoorActive – (Joined With good old ViewRanger) Platform to share routes. Biking, trekking, motorcycling etc…
WikiLoc – Another Platform to share routes (Biking, trekking motorcycling etc..)
AllTheTrails – Similar platform like Outdoor Active or WikiLoc – some scenic routes, some adventure / trail routes.
Adventure Bike Rider (ABR) – Another site with shared few good adventure routes.
Massive Thank you to all who shared all these routes, and I would like to ask users to respect the rest of the Public while on the trails (and on the road), respect the Nature and local Laws as these can and will “bite back”!
