While prepping my AJP PR7 for the Wales Trans Euro Trail trip, I realised that AJP lacks mounting points for my Endurestand soft pannier bags.
After a quick search online I found some pre-made, however these small brackets were way too expensive, and because they are made outside of the UK ments unreasonable shipping and tax cost on top of the price! So… the solution was easy – make my own!
It was probably the easiest project out of them all!
First step was to draw the shape I wanted it to be.
Second step was to trace it on a sheet of aluminium!
Third step was to cut it to a rough shape and file down all the sharp edges.
And the last step was to find the right size bolts and bolt both of the brackets to the frame!
And…Tada! Finished brackets in just a few hours! And now tried and tested in Wales too!
